CPD: Please note that FACT is in the process of applying for CPD points with the SACSSPS & ASCHP& SAAP. However, we are still awaiting feedback from the various councils on the specific requirements and at this point can not guarantee any CPD points until confirmation form the CPD Panel. Social Workers can however in the meantime keep the certificate of successful completion on your CPD Portfolio as it will be acknowledged by  SACSSPS for CPD points when being audited.

Introduction: Emotional Regulation in Children. From Neurobiology to Practice
Teaching kids skills in emotional regulation is not only one of the foundational principles in any therapeutic work but a crucial starting point prior to starting any trauma work with children. In this brief training course, we will equip delegates with a sound understanding of the theory and neurobiology that underpin emotional regulation. Delegates will also be equipped with practical hands on skills in teaching and facilitating emotional regulation from the therapy room to classrooms to parents at home.
