Teaching kids skills in emotional regulation is not only one of the foundational principles in any therapeutic work but a crucial starting point prior to starting any trauma work with children. In this brief training course, we will equip delegates with a sound understanding of the theory and neurobiology that underpin emotional regulation. Delegates will also be equipped with practical hands on skills in teaching and facilitating emotional regulation from the therapy room to classrooms to parents at home.
