Introduction:

A step-by-step structured program providing theory-based strategies for therapeutic parenting for children with attachment difficulties. We have come to understand that Attachment Therapy between parents and children are not effective if we have not first established the necessary foundation with parents in both understanding their own attachment histories and creating an attachment mindset with the parent prior to starting individual attachment therapy. The course provides delegates with a sound theoretical knowledge base on attachment, a structure for a group work (or individual) program with parents, as well as practical hands-on skills and techniques for individual sessions between parents and children to facilitating secure attachment.
